Trilogie Matrix na Blu-ray - co všechno nás čeká?

Minulý týden bylo konečně ohlášeno dlouho očekávané Blu-ray vydání trilogie Matrix (viz Trilogie Matrix na Blu-ray ovládne letošní podzim). Předběžné specifikace pro jednotlivé regiony se sice liší, pro nás nejzajímavější je ale americká edice, kterou si teď představíme v celé kráse.

Oproti prvnímu oznámení došlo k upřesnění jednoho detailu: box v regionu A sice bude obsahovat sedm disků, Blu-ray z nich ale budou jenom čtyři – všechny tři filmy a Animatrix. Další disky budou obyčejná DVD, na prvním bude digitální kopie prvního filmu, druhé DVD bude oboustranné a bude obsahovat dokumenty v SD, stejně jako třetí DVD. Úplně se vytratil dokument The Matrix Experience, který byl přitom v typickém Blu-ray obalu k vidění v propagačních materiálech.

Technické parametry samotných filmů (VC-1 video, Dolby TrueHD 5.1 audio) zůstávají stejné, stejně jako datum vydání 14. října a cena $130. Jen připomínám, že v Evropě vyjde pouze filmová trilogie, na Aminatrix v HD a celou řadu zajímavých dokumentů můžeme zapomenout.
